THE PICASO ART CLUB

The Picaso art club gives a platform to the students of De Paul Ukkunagaram to express their emotions and ideas in myriad hues. The various activities conducted through the year gives a boost to the creativity of the students. Our budding artists have participated in various intra school as well as inter school competitions and have brought accolades to the school .In December 2023, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant held an Energy Conservation Painting competition. Students bagged several prizes.

On Republic Day, the GVMC Visakhapatnam conducted the EcoVizag Mega Art Contest in which, K. Parineet of 5th std secured the 3rd prize along with a cash award of Rs 7000, and Himanshu Kannam of 6th std received a Consolation prize.

National Biodiversity Authority and A.P. state Biodiversity Board had organised a drawing competition on 19th May, 2024 at Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, to  celebrate International Day of Biodiversity.

Himanshu Kannam of 7th std got the first prize in the category of 6th std to 10th std. On the occasion of World Environment Day on June 5th, Vizag steel plant had organised an inter school poster making competition. Students from De Paul School participated and brought glory.

N. Sucha Samyuktha from 3rd std won the first prize, R. Sevita Sri from 4th std secured the second prise, Veditha Sai frum 5th std earned the third prize and Moksha Sri Y from 7th std got the first prize.

In July 2024, ASISC Andhra Pradesh Zonal Level Painting Competition was conducted by Future Kids School, Rajahmundry: Our students, Ganika Reddy of 7th std from Sub junior category got 1st prize and K. Parineeth of 9″ std from junior category got the 1st prize.

In August 2024, the Picasso Art club hosted Rhapsody art and craft competition and the students participated enthusiastically
