Premchand Sahitya Srijan (Hindi)
De Paul, Ukkunagaram works incessantly for the progress of Hindi language. To create an interest in the students for the language and to encourage them. the Hindi Literary club under the name of “Prem Chand Sahitya Srijan” was formed in 2012-13 academic year. A series of enjoyable activities are conducted to develop students ‘Literary Skills’ in Hindi which gives exposure to classical Hindi and its literature. We motivate the students to spread the essence of the National language, Hindi, by giving them, the resources required. We try to inculcate a sense of pride about an Indian language and understand the importance of Hindi.
A committee comprising of teachers in-charges as well as two students as Secretary and Deputy Secretary organise various activities. Every year. the “HINDI DIWAS” is celebrated on 14th September, with lot of zeal. This creates a special platform for children to showcase their art and talent in developing their speaking skills as well as writing skills in Hindi
Club Activities
- For the pre-primary level, storytelling competition is organised
- For the Primary and Upper Primary level, handwriting and Essay writing competitions are held
- For the High School level, Speech and Debate is organised.
