Examination and Promotion

  • The progress of pupils is determined by means of regular mid-term tests and terminal examinations. A comprehensive report of these will be sent to parents regularly for their perusal and counter signature.
  • The annual promotion depends upon the performance of students in the mid-term tests, and Terminal examinations as well as upon the assessment of all other activities allotted to them throughout the year.

  • Every student is required to obtain 40% of marks in all subjects. Moreover, a minimum attendance of 90% is a requirement for promotion to the next higher class.
  • Students absenting themselves from any examinations will not be re-examined under any circumstances.
  • Anyone who resorts to malpractice will be debarred from the rest of the examinations. This may even lead to his/her dismissal from the school.
  • No pupil who fails twice in the same class will be allowed to continue in the school.
  • Students who have not cleared all their fees and dues will be barred from appearing at the mid term and terminal examination.
  • Result declared at the end of the year is final in all cases and will not be reconsidered nor will the answer scripts of the final examination be shown to anyone.
  • In all matters connected with the admission, dismissal, examination and promotion/detention of students the decision of the Principal is final and binding.
  • The performances of the students of all the exams are uploaded on KYC 365 Pro.
