De Paul School, Ukkunagaram celebrated Hindi Diwas on 14th September to mark the adoption of Hindi as one of the Official languages of India. The Hindi department put up a spectacular sequence of events signifying the importance of Hindi language and Indian culture. Children have rendered poems emphasising the beauty of the language. Cultural program included songs, skit and dances. Speech competitions were conducted for students of Classes 1 to 10. Fr. Johnson Jacob, Principal addressed the students and recalled the importance of Hindi as an Official language in India.
